Strategically designing for multi media: print & digital publishing
Structure of a magazine: the physical parts, the general sections which make up a magazine, and a magazine‘s front cover. Review feature article layout, grids and advertisements.

 

Homework:

Design a sample cover (optional, but not required: redesign the nameplate or masthead of
your cover)
and one feature article layout for your magazine based off of your established style/concept board. Add advertisements (FPO grey boxes) appropriate to your magazine article layout. Add small tags to your print design where you think you could have potential to create rich media (e.g. video, links, buttons, slideshows, 360 viewing,
pan & zoom)
